However, will the minister assure me that the poor performance of one company will not be allowed to derail the broader objective of getting police officers patrolling our streets instead of sitting in the back of vans with shoplifters? Like most MSPs, I am very aware of the desire of people in local communities to see police officers on front-line duties.
