I want to ask the cabinet secretary about the overall yield from business rates taxation in Scotland since the Scottish National Party came to office.In a written answer to a parliamentary question in March, the cabinet secretary replied that, net of all reliefs, the amount that businesses paid in rates in Scotland was £1.928 billion.
