(S3O-1805) The Scottish Government is taking forward a number of actions to address the social needs of children in disadvantaged areas, including developing an early years strategy; helping to realise the aspirations of the "Changing Lives" review of social work services; and establishing the fairer Scotland fund, which will provide community planning partnerships with £145 million a year to enhance the life chances of the most disadvantaged, including vulnerable children and their families living in the most deprived areas.
