In March 2006 the InformationCommissioner found that Caledonian MacBrayne Ltd had correctly applied the exemptionin Section 33(1) (b) of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, that relatedto commercially sensitive data in a case where their competitors had sought therelease of commercially sensitive data.It is considered that the informationrelated to individual vessel leasing charges is commercially sensitive.
