There has been correspondence with MSPs, but not with the Executive. Lewis Macdonald, the Deputy Minister for Environment and Rural Development, has said that the Executive supports the introduction of the fisheries management plan.

There are parallels between the problems that they face and the problems faced by looked-after children.Some time ago, I attended a briefing session for MSPs presented by young carers from across Scotland, who spoke about their experiences with great directness and often with a great deal of humour.
