The Financial and Policy Memoranda which accompany the Bill sets out indicative costs and savings the Scottish Government estimates will be delivered by the policy set out in the Bill
The Financial Memorandum summaries the potential costs and savings of the Bill based on a number of assumptions identified in the Memorandum.

Overall conclusions on the general principles of the Bill
Overall, the Committee considers that the amendment of the Social Security (Scotland) 2018 has been undertaken in a way that takes account of the ethos of the 2018 Act, while amending it to take account of developments in the Scottish social security system.
