England and Wales do not currently produce quarterly indices of GDP.The only GDP data availablefor England and Wales are from the annual regional accounts produced bythe Office for National Statistics.
General details were providedto producers in the Scottish Executive’s News Release of 14 January 2004and in a letter sent to all arable producers on 23 February 2004.
In the interests of sustainable farming, it is important for all producers to have profitable markets for the livestock that they produce, whether that is abattoirs or other farmers who finish the animals.
To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to promote the use of home produced food and drink to visitors and tourists to Scotland and to increase the economic value of such produce.

To ask the Scottish Executive what plans it has to introduce a producer responsibility for electrical and electronic products whereby producers bear the responsibility for the collection of end-of-life products and ensure that any waste is disposed of in an environmentally acceptable way.
