The Community Care (Personal Care and Nursing Care) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2025 [draft]
To help redress this, the Scottish Government decided to increase the weekly payment rates at levels above the GDP Deflator for 2021/22 and 2022/23. This resulted in increases of 7.5% for 2021/22 and 10% for 2022/23.

Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee report on the Environmental Protection (Single-Use Vapes) (Scotland) Regulations 2024 (draft) - Environmental Impacts of Single-Use Vapes
A review by Zero Waste Scotland estimated that between 21 and 26 million single-use vapes were consumed and discarded in Scotland between April 2022 and April 2023. SEPA and Zero Waste Scotland pointed out that the cost of managing this waste typically falls on Local Authorities.
