It was interesting to note that, although the press release that was put out by the NFUS contained a demand for action, there was no indication of what action should be taken.Some of the MSPs who have joined the cross-party group on agriculture and horticulture met representatives of agriculture-related industries at the Royal Highland Show last week.

We cannot afford to let that happen in Scotland.I move amendment S1M-575.1, to insert at end: "and calls upon the Scottish Executive to report to the Parliament on progress in achieving this aim on a quarterly basis." One of my privileges as an MSP has been to be present at many sparsely attended debates on important issues.

I suspect that, as in many instances of its trying to create a more inclusive society, the resources have not followed the policy.Normally, when an MSP visits a school, everything is organised and that MSP sees the school in its best possible light.
