I suppose that the way to avoid those challenges for people who are trying to access care is to focus our work on improving workforce planning and ensuring that sufficient funding is going into the system.
The Strategy states:
Workforcedevelopment in digital skills, leadership and capabilities across the whole health and care sector underpins the successful uptake and use of digital technologies.
The cost of living pressures faced by the public sector workforce must be weighed against the inflationary pressures and the funding challenges in our overall budgetary envelopes.
