(2) In section 16 (victim’s right to receive information concerning release etc. of offender)— (a) in subsection (1)— (i) in the opening words, the words “Subject to subsection (2),” are repealed, 35 (ii) in paragraph (a), the words “for a period of 18 months or more” are repealed, (iii) paragraph (b) is repealed, (b) subsection (4)(a) is repealed. 16 Victims, Witnesses, and Justice Reform (Scotland) Bill Part 2A—Victims’ right to receive information (3) In section 17 (release on licence: right of victim to receive information and make representations), subsection (12)(b), and the word “or” immediately preceding it, are repealed.
