Is there an onus on GPs and their staff to alert the patients who are registered at their practice to what is being rolled out and the date when that will happen? You said that there will not be a mass switch-on—how would I know that my practice was signed up to SPIRE on a particular date?

In the first year of the Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund for adults, 2021 to 2022, we funded 64 projects supporting adults living in Dundee.
Data from the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service has shown that fewer people from disadvantaged backgrounds had applications accepted in 2023 than in 2022. Ten years of successive real-terms cuts have taken a toll on the sector.
For example, the costs for staffing are based on our 2022-23 pay deal. Inevitably, if we seek to recruit 24 clerks, those costs might increase slightly because of pay deals or changes in the environment.
