The ScotRail franchise extension secured £73.1 million for reinvestment in the railways through a number of Priced Options as outlined in the franchise amendment agreement. A consultation exercise into how best the Priced Options can be implemented has recently ended.

Our joint work with COSLA on the new School Estate Strategy provides an excellent opportunity to look again at how best to accommodate the expectations of local communities.
The Scottish Fuel Poverty Forum is considering how best the target can be achieved, and we expect their recommendations may cover data collection requirements to assist in targeting action and monitoring its impact.
However, the Scottish Government is giving active consideration to how best it could support the provision of a suitable means of last resort for resolving cases in which all other measures have been exhausted.
