Post-mortem Examinations (Defence Time Limit) (Scotland) Bill: Stage 1
Introduction
At its meeting on 22 September 2020, the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee considered the delegated powers provision in the Post-mortem Examinations (Defence Time Limit) (Scotland) Bill ("the Bill") at Stage 1.
The main proposal to extend candidacy rights for elections in Scotland to 16 and 17-year-olds and to foreign nationals resident in Scotland with limited rights is among the areas of concern.
