I was thinking more about the other processes that we could employ to ensure that MSPs get information more quickly. By their nature, MSPs are not always in the Parliament and do not want to wait unnecessarily for information until they get to their e-mail.
I was faced with horrendous complications when I asked to pop in to say, "Hello, I am your local MSP, if you would like to raise any problems or issues."
Our system does not meet the objectives of making votes count and giving the electorate access to MSPs from different parties. For example, constituents of the leader or deputy leader of the SNP have no access to a Labour MSP.
