The provisions in the Bill The Bill does two things: It amends definition of 'actuary' in the 1982 Act to reflect the merger of the Faculty of Actuaries in Scotland and the Institute of Actuaries in 2011 (section 1(1) of the Bill) It removes the requirement in the 1982 Act that the collector is a contributor to the Fund and substitutes a new requirement that the collector shall be an individual (section 1(2) of the Bill).
