To ask the Scottish Executive on how many occasions it has asked back-bench MSPs to lodge oral parliamentary questions in order to enable it to make an announcement or for any other purpose and whether it will provide a list of such questions, including the dates on which they were lodged and answered.

We initially sent out over 1,500 documents to a range of private and public individuals and organisations including all MSPs, Council leaders, Chief Executives, secondary schools and libraries.
I welcome to the meeting George Lyon MSP, the Deputy Minister for Finance, Public Service Reform and Parliamentary Business, who will give evidence in a few moments.
Is it fairer for the Executive to spend precious health money on giving free medicine to, for example, an MSP who earns £50,000 or so a year or to give it to other health service priorities?
The Parliament should be reminded that allowing such projects blights people's homes and cities and ultimately reflects on MSPs themselves. Those MSPs represent the people who will ultimately pick up the cost of the system.
I welcome to the committee Robert Brown MSP, who is a member of the Scottish Parliamentary Corporate Body, Paul Curran, who is the head of the Holyrood project team, and Dave Ferguson, who is the Holyrood project adviser.
Nothing further has happened, although the committee made some recommendations that further action should be taken.I have been involved with the Carbeth hutters, as have other MSPs. There is an update on the situation at paragraph 7 of the paper.
