It was not an option that had been covered at school and when the young woman sought advice the school suggested remaining at school was the best option...She said the reason she was still at school was because she does not know what to do next.
We agree that there should be a presumption that a child’s voice should be heard in relation to any decisions made by the Independent Reviewer (unless this is not in the child’s best interests).
