We have made necessary changes to the HES Grant and Loan scheme to ensure available funds are targeted at measures which best support direct decarbonisation of heat in homes. In 2023-24, sustained rapid growth in funding for loans for solar PV necessitated a change to limit solar funding to instances where deployed alongside renewable heat.
