The investigation has still not concluded, so I am prevented—as I was last year—from commenting on the issue any further.The other issue that resulted in section 22 reports for a number of colleges last year was the accounting for pensions by colleges. Four college accounts were qualified in 2007-08 as a result of the accounting treatment for pensions.
