Reasons for not supporting restrictions on the days fireworks can be used by or sold to the general public
The most frequently-raised concern about the proposals was that the proposed dates are too long and, in particular, that the number of days on which fireworks can be used or sold in October/November is too long.
The register will be built and maintained by the Keeper of The Registers of Scotland and will become operational on 1 April 2022.

When does it end? I do not have the date in front of me, but I can say that our relationship with the council is such that we are working with it daily to see whether we could roll the date forward, if need be.
