I have to say, though, that, as someone who rarely makes a meal, I cannot claim any responsibility in that respect.The point is that many families live busy, pressurised lives and need to be empowered to make the right choices.
In many of our IJBs and partnerships, support is provided to people who are living independently in their own homes or are in residential care, and that support is realigned to suit what they need, with them as the central part of the conversation, when they move into hospital or are discharged.
We need to set a culture and set of values in the organisation that will help the organisation to aspire to the kind of vision that I suggest, and we need to live up to those values externally. I want to create an exemplar organisation that can, with credibility, become Scotland’s environmental conscience, and I think that we can do that.
Unfortunately, harassment and bullying have become a big part of many people’s working lives—or maybe it only seems that way because of the media attention and the high-profile, powerful people who are being called to account for their actions.
