Perhaps we should draw that recommendation to the attention of the three individual MSPs and ask for their views in time for us to consider them when we finalise the report.

The approach acknowledges the importance of a work-life balance—although many MSPs' families might think that we are the last people who should be lecturing anyone about that.
I am asking you to raise the matter with the minister by writing to him in your capacity as an MSP. That way, you will be able to include all the issues involved.
