Demand for advice on housing for this group is also high: around 45% of all people seeking housing advice were single/never married, and around 80% of people were under 65 years old, with younger groups most likely to seek advice about homelessness and the private rented sector (PRS). We have also seen average rent arrears in the PRS increase over the last 2-3 years, reflecting the affordability challenges facing many.
