Breast Screening year runs from 1 April to 31 March. 2. In Scotland, women aged 50 to 64 years were invited for a routine screen once every three years until 2003-04, when the age range for invitation was extended to include women up to the age of 70 years.

At the last statistical count published in March 2010, it is evident that Scottish Borders Council still have some way to go to meet the national 2012 target on the abolition of the priority need test.
We do not anticipate that any NHS board will meet the target to level off the annual rate of increase of defined daily dose per capita of antidepressants which was due to be achieved by 31 March this year. However, the HEAT target has driven a much better understanding of the issues that impact on anti-depressant prescribing across Scotland.
