The Promoter explained that there had been discussions with the various bodies involved in appointing patrons, or whose members are ex officio patrons, prior to the formal pre-introduction consultation. Charles Livingstone explained that these discussions were held whilst proposals were being developed, ensuring that people were on board with them.
