Our understanding from Ms Pacitti’s evidence, is that while it may now be more difficult in practical terms for Scottish Canals to deliver ambitious medium to longer term capital projects, it is still achievable based on how other NDPB’s manage such projects.

Section 2(7) provides that a public area refers to any outdoor area that the public may access and any partially enclosed structure in the safe access zone that the public may access.
As soon as a Public Bill (i.e. a Government, Committee or Member’s Bill) has completed Stage 1, amendments for consideration at Stage 2 may be lodged; and as soon as Stage 2 is completed, amendments for Stage 3 consideration may be lodged.
