Proposal for a member’s bill
Mark Ruskell lodged his draft proposal for a member’s bill to promote the welfare of greyhounds by introducing an offence of permitting a greyhound to race at racetracks in Scotland on 7 February 2024.

INTRODUCTION
The Fireworks and Pyrotechnic Articles (Scotland) Bill (“the Bill”) and its accompanying documents were introduced in the Parliament by the Minister for Community Safety, Ash Regan MSP ("the Minister"), on 1 February 2022.

Passage of the Bill
The Local Government and Communities Committee scrutinised the Bill at Stage 1.
