To an extent, a similar issue is that of the boundaries between the roles of the councillor, the MSP and the list MSP, all of whom could deal with the same matter.
With respect, I would not say that sending a letter that would have come in with a batch of others soon after the election means that you "spoke to MSPs". A specific briefing session for MSPs was held in the past week or so.
