At present there are no onshore wind projects awaiting approval by ministers. There are currently 42 live wind farm applications with the Local Energy and Consents Department which may be submitted for determination under Section 36 of the Electricity Act 1989 following consultation and robust assessment of the proposals.

To ask the Scottish Government how many crew members on each Caledonian MacBrayne vessel live in the postcode area (a) from which it departs or (b) where it arrives.
One way of introducing this is to make the employer’s allowance more generous or linked to companies paying the living wage. Any changes in employer national insurance contributions would be part of a cohesive package of measures to boost sustainable economic growth in Scotland.
This is a matter for Police Scotland. Since the system went live on 28 October 2014, through to 20 April 2015, Police Scotland advises that 1,744 vehicles have been detected exceeding the speed limit and warranted further action.
