For example Scottish Borders CouncilxviiiLetter from Scottish Borders Council 19 February 2025 highlighted challenges with the funding criteria for the Rural Housing Key Worker Fund where many key workers serving rural communities may actually live in nearby settlements which are not technically classed as being rural.
