Police (Additional Officers) To ask the Scottish Executive what progress it has made in developing its strategy for the recruitment of additional police officers and on what date it expects the recruitment of such officers to commence.
That regime is likely to depart from the EU-derived procedural approach to some extent. To date, little information is available on how the new regime will operate, but we expect the UK Government to set out more detail on the proposed approach in 2025.
