The CTA came to the Parliament last week and offered to meet MSPs, but unfortunately, given our diaries, it is not possible for many MSPs to meet all the organisations that come.

Ecocide (Scotland) Bill
The Ecocide (Scotland) Bill was introduced on 29 May 2025 by Monica Lennon MSP as a Member’s Bill. Following its introduction, the Parliament referred the Bill to the Committee for Stage 1 consideration.
In June 2022 the Conveners Group agreed a package of proposals to strengthen cross-cutting scrutiny of climate change (including access to expert advice, training for MSPs and regular updates from the CCC), as part of Session 6 strategic priorities.
Background
The Assisted Dying for Terminally Ill Adults (Scotland) Bill was introduced in the Scottish Parliament on 27 March 2024 by Liam McArthur MSP.
The Health, Social Care and Sport Committee ('the Committee') was designated as lead committee for Stage 1 consideration of the Bill on 16 April 2024 and produced its stage 1 report on 30 April 2025.

At its meetings on 30 January and 5 MarchiFoysol Choudhury MSP was absent from this meeting. 2024, the Delegated Powers and Law Reform Committee considered the delegated powers contained in the Aggregates Tax and Devolved Taxes Administration (Scotland) Bill ("the Bill") at Stage 1.
