Stage 1 report on the National Care Service (Scotland) Bill - Transition to a National Care Service
In this context, the Committee will reserve final judgement on the extent to which the Scottish Government's revised approach to governance of the proposed National Care Service has addressed those concerns until it has had an opportunity to view the detail of amendments which the Scottish Government intends to bring forward at to reflect the consensus agreement with COSLA on shared legal accountability.
In particular, the Committee highlights that, as part of its further scrutiny, it will require a clear overview of the detail of the reforms to integration authorities the Scottish Government intends to bring forward via amendments to the Public Bodies (Joint Working) (Scotland) Act 2014.
