We need to recognise that the indirect health consequences of what is currently happening in much of the day-to-day work of investment and capital expenditure are as important as what will happen in any future investment or preventative work. With climate change marching on, I could not agree with you more.
We have looked at the operational plan for this year and signed up to returning to the March 2017 position, with the exception of the out-patients target, which we are going to try to do over two years, because it is very significant.
We will have that discussion at the board meeting on 29 March, which is when we will set the targeted funding for the strategic work over the next period.
Geoff Huggins can perhaps talk in detail about the progress that has been made, but I think that Bield is where it wants to be with regard to the March and July positions, and that it has made the progress that it needed to make.
