Kinship Carers - Non-financial support for kinship carers
We heard from a group of kinship carers that there was a fear among carers that contacting authorities for help or support could result in children being removed from their care.
Linda Richards, Perth and Kinross Council, told us that "many kinship carers look after family members in private family arrangements and do not want the state to intervene".
