HMRC provides income tax and taxpayer number estimates up to 2017-18 using economic assumptions consistent with the OBR’s March 2017 economic and fiscal outlook.
We see, from the Scottish Refugee Council’s figures, that there are more referrals from Glasgow, but that is for no reason that we know of other than the fact that people go there.That is the breakdown of the NRM. Come March, we might be able to give you a better idea.
With the aim of achieving greater understanding and transparency around the Scottish Government’s public service reform programme, the Committee launched an inquiry on 6 March 2023. Our hope was that the evidence gathered would help the Committee to continue to track progress against delivery of the programme’s objectives in the years ahead.

For the financial year April 2021 to March 2022, there have been 47 starts on the programme with a potential for a further 13 starts for January/February 2022 to account for seasonal demand.
2.4 Foundation Apprenticeships
Table 3 below shows the number of Foundation Apprenticeship (FA) opportunities being realised across rural areas.
Analysis of responses from settings in Scotland shows that 76.1% of settings had tried to recruit staff in the period from March to May 2021. The majority had tried to recruit staff with SVQ3 and SVQ4 level qualifications but 71.4% reported it difficult or very difficult to recruit at SYQ3 level and 91.7% said the same for SVQ4.

The Committee held six oral evidence sessions in February and March 2019 from a variety of witness, including parents of children who had been attacked by dogs, medical professionals, campaigners, representative bodies and local authorities.
The latest figures shows that there were 2.75 million workforce jobs in Scotland in March 2018 this has increased from 2.5 million in March 1998 but has fallen slightly from 2.77 million in 2008.
