Budget Scrutiny 2026 to 2027

The latest public sector staffing figures published on 16 December show that in the third Quarter of 2025, staffing levels have continued to drop, reducing from 10,957 in 2022- 23 to 10,112 in 2023-24. Colleges are responsible for their own operational decisions, and this includes staffing and resourcing.
