Tackling health inequalities in Scotland - Employment
Bill Scott from the Poverty and Inequality Commission argued that while the Scottish Government is unable to set the real living wage for all employees, there were actions the Scottish Government couldtake in relation to addressing barriers to employment:
I can say only that the Scottish Government’s inability to set the real living wage for all employees prevents that wage from being applied to every sector of employment.
