For complete accuracy, I put on the record that the Scottish Government’s budget will rise by 2.6 per cent in cash terms or, in so-called real terms, 0.9 per cent after taking inflation into account. If promoting health equality is a fundamental objective of GPs on the ground or Scottish Government ministers, the digital divide must be taken into account and redressed to ensure that the changes that are coming in as a result of the changes to GP practices do not increase health inequalities.
