Currently, in civil cases SLAB will suspend a certificate for 30 days, and if the arrears are not brought up to date, the certificate will be terminated and the case will effectively come to an end.

We support the principle of the amendment entirely, but I have concerns about the time constraint because the date that is specified—2021—would be impossible to meet in practice, as many of the LEZs will not be in place by that date.
