When I asked the cabinet secretary in a number of written questions what checks had been done before the awarding of quotas or grants, the answer was that the Government was “continuing to look into this matter”.—Written Answers, 7 October 2024; S6W-30076. That is not good enough.

Minister, we know that approximately 60 staff are sitting at home and are unaware whether they will be paid, while their chief executive is advertising them on LinkedIn as “60 Brilliant People Available for Roles”.
