Scotland and UK comparison
The seasonally adjusted claimant count rate for March in both Scotland and the UK as a whole increased by 0.1 percentage point over the month as well as the year.
It follows on from the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2022, which received Royal Assent on 15 March 2022. A Legislative Consent Memorandum in respect of that Bill was lodged in the Scottish Parliament on 4 March 2022, then debated and approved unanimously on 9 March 2022.
