To ask the Scottish Executive how it will hold to account those NHS boards that are not meeting clinical standards in neurological health services so that there is a consistent service across Scotland, including in rural areas.
Action might include writing to the Cabinet Secretary for Justice, to invite his response on the points that the commissioner raised in her report and, in particular, to ask whether the Government accepts the commissioner’s findings and will ensure that systems are put in place to take account of the guidance that she issued.
Why there is no parliamentary oversight of such guidance, such as laying it before Parliament, in light of the requirements to have due regard to the guidance under section 5(7) and section 10(1).

The Committee notes that the reviewer’s proposed functions follow upon the principal proposal to increase the MACR to age 12.
However, ending the right to buy for new-supply social housing will take effect immediately and will account for some capital receipt losses in that five-year period.
