There are clear educational resources across the different professions and pathways, including for specialist services, but we do not yet have clear, discipline-specific pathways that highlight the number of people we need to train to ensure sufficient numbers, accounting for a drop-off or loss or changes of careers.
We are also working with people with experience of the current payments system to improve the parts of the process that people find most difficult at present. We will be laying the funeral assistance regulations early in 2019.
