The US is Scotland’s top source of inward investment, accounting for 36% of projects and is Scotland’s second largest export partner - worth £4.56 billion or 15.9% of all international exports.
The Public Petitions Committee has taken oral and written evidence and it has written to the Government, which has written back, laying out its position. Those are measures that we would have undertaken, had they not already been undertaken.For me, it comes down to parents’ knowledge about their rights.
The problem appears to be that, although the Scottish Government is laying down quite legitimate targets, health boards are choosing to ignore them completely.
Confirmation agents might also be accountants but, if they are holding clients’ money as accountants, not as confirmation agents, that will be a matter for the regulation of accountants—it is not something for this bill.
