I am delighted that Alex Johnstone has rediscovered why he came into politics, although I am a little worried that George Adam seems to be wondering why he did.It is right and appropriate that MSPs throughout the chamber have had an opportunity to express concerns on behalf of their constituents.
I also commend his diplomacy in using the phrase “second best” when he meant “tat”. I am thrilled to be the MSP for Aberdeenshire West, because I believe that we have the talent and opportunity to welcome visitors from all over—not just Scotland and the Commonwealth but the world.
We have tried to be reasonable but have been rebuffed by the Scottish Government, which is determined to force through this shoddy bill.I therefore urge every MSP to think carefully before voting to approve the bill.

I know that Mr Mather has gone around the country to speak proactively to industries and companies, but when MSPs are approached by constituents who are concerned about their employment it is vital that the Government responds consistently.
