However, they did fast referrals when the pressure built up, because our key focus was on the basics—rota systems that recognised that people could not work flat out forever, and insisting that even social work staff take their holidays. All staff are taking all their holidays.
The situation has shifted back to somewhere that we should be nowhere near, with children sleeping on the floor with no mattress, without enough food and using food banks, and with families having insecure tenancies and having to move around.

To ask the Scottish Government whether it will consider reviewing the pre-release of access to statistics by Scottish Ministers, in light of the Office for National Statistics and the Bank of England no longer allowing this practice.
As noted in that correspondence, the original version of the draft instrument was withdrawn in order to address an issue with article 9, relating to changing the date on which a person becomes a candidate, which was raised by the committee with the Scottish Government.
I have accepted that offer, but a meeting date has not been scheduled yet. I remain very keen to discuss the pilot and would also like to discuss improvements to the current policy for granting permission to work for people seeking asylum.
It was commissioned to recommend a framework for the prevention of malnutrition and dehydration more than two years ago, but we have had no detail to date. When will the framework be published?
As I have said, we will continue discussing the start dates with stakeholders, and I am happy to continue engaging with Mr Balfour as we move those projects forward.
Recreational Drones (Use in Nature Reserves) (PE2050) PE2050, which was lodged by Lee Watson on behalf of Ythan seal watch, calls on the Scottish Parliament to urge the Scottish Government to amend the current guidance on flying recreational drones on national nature reserves so that their use is prohibited without a permit; that permits include a flight time, date and agreed flight path; that operation is in accordance with the drone code; and that advice on the legal status of the wildlife and habitats is provided.
