To ask the Scottish Executive what reports or other evidence it took account of when drawing up its target for an 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, announced by the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Sustainable Growth on 21 June 2007 I refer the memberto the answer to question S3W-2433on 14 August 2007.
This is a matter forNHS Ayrshire and Arran, taking account of the work underway to reviseits Review of Services proposals, as referred to in the answer to questionS3W-752 on 18 June 2007.
More generally, the Government does not fully take into account the additional costs of delivering services to a small and older population that is dispersed over a number of islands.
