Regional meetings would be helpful to constituency MSPs rather than list MSPs. Because of etiquette, it is sometimes difficult for constituency MSPs to get involved in issues that affect their constituents but are based in other constituencies.

I thought that the Parliament had someone who was responsible for the training of MSPs. Perhaps we have to approach those members of staff.Training for ourselves and other MSPs is a good idea.

Economic, social and cultural rights - some frequently asked questions
Attempts were made to amend the Bill at stage 2 so that the Scottish Ministers, other public authorities and the courts would be required to have due regard to the right to social security, as defined in the International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights (ICESCR), when exercising their functions under the proposed legislation. That is true up to a point, but are there limits? Do MSPs have some privacy? Yes, but less than non-MSPs.

I can envisage a situation in which, particularly with groups that have a considerable non-MSP membership, the non-MSPs could easily outweigh the MSPs, which might not be appropriate.
